*Please note: The WHISKEY BONELICK does not come with a wooden gift box like the full size Whiskey Knives, but does come packaged in a very nice thick cotton canvas logo drawstring bag.
The Whiskey Bonelick is designed to be either an EDC Camp Knife or a dedicated Food Prep Field Knife. It's perfect for small foraging kits, but can also be worn as a necker or used as a pocket sheath knife with the paracord lanyard removed. This is the Whiskey version of a traditional bird and trout knife, with the versatility of an all-around camp blade.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
All carbon steel knives are susceptible to rust. Our Whiskey Knives are no different. It is recommended to oil your blade after each use in the field. I (CR///EK) have always used mineral oil and it has worked just fine. If any rust occurs on the blade while in storage, steel wool can be used to brush it off.
Our leather sheaths will benefit from a biannual treatment with leather conditioner. Any variety will work well. We offer a small tin of Saddle Soap and also Mutton Tallow for sale and each of these products work well when treating and protecting leather.
Your knife has an asymmetrical beveled edge (think Samurai sword). You won't notice it with the naked eye but it is there. You will achieve the sharpest edge by only sharpening the side of the blade which has my logo stamped. I prefer to use a rod-style diamond or ceramic sharpener for this task but many varieties of bench stones will work as well.
Like everything I offer for sale, I will stand by my Whiskey Knives for as long as I'm alive. If your knife ever fails you for any reason or if you just decide you don't like it, simply email us at email@example.com and we will either send you a replacement or refund your money.
