YOUR LEATHER SHEATH
Your leather sheath will be tight at first and will require “breaking-in”. This “breaking-in” period will depend on how often you use your knife. As you use your knife and sheath, the leather will soften and eventually fit your blade like a glove. Be patient.

MAINTENANCE
The CS Slaybacks are carbon steel. To prevent rust, apply a thin layer of mineral oil after each use in the field using a cotton rag or tissue, especially before storing your knife. This will create a barrier and prevent rust.
