This is a hatchet head that’s forged in the heart of Italy’s artisan steel district. Prandi is based in Italy’s picturesque Valsassina valley. While many people think of vineyards when they think of Italy, Prandi has been forging axes and hatchets for the timber industry in this valley since 1969.

At 1.24 lbs, this Valsassina Valley Hatchet Head is MADE IN ITALY from start to finish. The only things that’s missing is your craftsman’s touch to find, design, and carve a a handle.
