DAY 6: "Mon Premier Couteau" Kids French Voyageur Knife (SOLD OUT)

$18.95

Designed in France by Luc Foin and Stéphane Lebeau, "Mon Premier Couteau" translates to “My First Knife”.

Is it time to inspire outdoor adventure in the life of a kid in your life? Personally, I’ll never forget the Christmas when my Uncle Jarman gave me my first knife. It was a Boker folding pocket knife and I still have it 40-years later.

"Mon Premier Couteau" Kids French Voyageur Knife has a 3-inch stainless blade with rounded tip and a push-button locking system. It is a perfect first pocket knife. It’s Zebra-wood handle oozes character and it is very well made. Whether carving sticks or fighting imaginary pirates, this knife is safe and functional. It’s a great “first tool” to learn the basics of knife safety and carving.

“Voyageur” in the name hearkens to the time of the French Voyageurs in the 1800s. The French voyageurs, also known simply as "voyageurs," were a group of French-Canadian fur traders and explorers who played a significant role in the exploration and fur trade activities of North America during the 18th and early 19th centuries. These hardy and skilled individuals were known for their remarkable journeys into the wilderness, where they established trade routes and contributed to the European colonization of North America.

I think kids could use some “Voyageur” inspiration in this day and age!
