Kiridashi Neck Knife

Kiridashi Neck Knife
The Kiridashi is a traditional Japanese utility knife known for its simplicity, sharpness, and versatility. Historically used by craftsmen, woodworkers, and even schoolchildren, the word kiridashi translates to “pointed carving knife.” Its single-bevel edge allows for incredible precision in woodworking, whittling, marking, and fine camp tasks.
5-inch overall length. 2-inch blade length.
This hand-forged version is styled in the classic crescent kiridashi shape, making it ideal for skinning, woodworking, gear modification, and light-duty survival tasks. Each knife is hand-ground, sharpened, and stamped. A lanyard hole is drilled to allow for the addition of a lanyard or custom beadwork.
It comes with a square, leather neck sheath—simple, tough, and functional. The sheath comes natural and can be dyed, oiled, or left natural and is secured with steel staples that are built to withstand extreme use in the field.
